I had an incredible experience taking a diving course with Blue Horizon, and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Cris. From start to finish, the course was a fantastic journey into the underwater world. Cris's expertise and passion for diving were evident from day one. Their thorough explanations and patient teaching style made even the most complex concepts easy to grasp. Safety was always a top priority, and I felt completely at ease under Cris's guidance. The practical sessions were nothing short of amazing. Cris took us to breathtaking dive sites, and their knowledge of marine life was impressive. It was like exploring a whole new world beneath the surface, and I can't thank Cris enough for introducing me to this magical realm. The equipment provided by Blue Horizon was top-notch, and the team ensured everything was well-maintained and safe. The course schedule was flexible, accommodating both beginners and experienced divers. In the end, I not only earned my diving certification but also gained a newfound love for the ocean. I highly recommend Blue Horizon and specifically Cris as an instructor. They truly made this diving course an unforgettable adventure, and I can't wait to dive with them again in the future. We followed our open water diving course here with diving instructor Cris (originally from Ecuador). We really enjoyed the class, as they are a ‘small scale’ diving school which makes it very personal. They also keep the groups small: max. 4 persons - 1 instructor. Cris was very patient and friendly which made us very comfortable learning all skills to dive safely. Payment could be organized easily via European bank transfer as the owner has a French bank account, so no hassle getting loads of Thai Bath from the cash machine. So I would totally recommend diving here and do it again when back at Ko Phangan! In addition we also did the fluorescent snorkeling: once again truly recommended. The place they take you to has lots of coral which is very nearby in low tide. On top of that we were lucky to see a lot of fish but also: octopus, stingray and crab! Already the night snorkeling on a desolated beach is an experience on its own, but adding the UV-light and the marine life made it into an amazing experience.

By far the most relaxed, friendly and competent diving instructor you can imagine. Chris is amazingly calm and considerate. He makes sure everyone feels okay when diving deep down towards the ocean floor. I had a scary experience before (running out of air without a buddy closeby). We extra trainend on sharing air, making me feel very comfortable and relaxed under water. If you are looking for an instructor. Stop searching and ask for Chris.

We never dove before. My friend was really stressed but the instructor really managed his stress well. After 3 intensive days of theory, safetydrills and ocean diving upto 18m we both earned our SSI Open Water certificate. Very friendly and concerned staff. Highly recommended.

Very satisfied with this diving center and their services. Kind and friendly staff. They are the only ones in Koh Phangan offering the UV light night dive and we tried it: It was an one of the best experiences we ever had. I regret not ordering the photo and video service to keep those memories. The diving guides are well trained and helped us with all our needs, questions and curiosity. Prices are lower than other bigger companies. They also offer snorkeling tours, and other kind of water activities. But we focused mainly in the diving. Absolutely loved it!

Had my first dive after 12 years of diving sobriety (too busy, familiy etc). What a pleasure to have had my refresher with Blue Horizon and day after the dives at sail rock. Contact with Mimi through WhatsApp was easy, arrangements made fast. Pascal is a great instructor to re-instill confidence and guide during trip. Happy to come back one day!
